When external is not the fit
If you run more than four vehicles long term and need the professional competence anyway, sitting the exam yourself or an internal role is cheaper over time. External fits at the start, for small fleets, and when no transport manager of your own is available.
AUDITABILITY
Built to withstand a BALM inspection
The transport manager must lead the transport activity effectively and continuously (Art. 4). We are set up so that this is auditable at any time.

Frequent questions
What does it cost?
749 € per month for the first vehicle, +349 € for each additional vehicle. From 10 vehicles a tiered price on request. Cancel monthly.
Who is liable?
The transport manager is responsible for meeting the duties under Art. 4 Reg. (EC) 1071/2009. Entrepreneurial responsibility stays with the company; we set out the contractual split in writing.
How fast is the start?
After the first call: contract and authority notification within 48 hours, ongoing transport management from day 1.
Can I switch?
Yes. The contract can be cancelled monthly. On a switch we hand over the documentation in full.
What happens during a BALM inspection?
The monthly documentation — driving and rest times, driver cards, maintenance, instructions — is on file as evidence. The monthly report reflects the current state at any time.
Is there a minimum term?
No. The contract runs monthly and can be cancelled at the end of the month.
Do you handle the authority process for me?
Application support is included in the transport manager subscription: we check your documents for completeness, fill in the forms based on your information, and file the application. Handling the authority process directly by power of attorney is an optional paid add-on (490–690 €, PROVISIONAL).
What happens if an application is rejected?
If an application is rejected and the legal question is contested, we refer you to a transport-law attorney. We do not run appeal or litigation proceedings ourselves.
What additional official fees apply?
One-off, independent of us: roughly 300–500 € base fee plus 80–100 € per vehicle certificate (Stand: Juli 2026).
Do I have to give up company shares?
No. We take on transport management as a mandate, not company shares. You stay 100% the owner.
